Accelerated Learning Program (ALP)

The Accelerated Literacy Project addresses the educational gap for out-of-school children in rural Islamabad & Rawalpindi. Enrolling over 1000 children, our tailored curriculum uses accelerated learning methods, bridging gaps swiftly and accommodating diverse learning needs. Collaborating with local stakeholders, we’ve witnessed profound progress in literacy and confidence levels. Moving forward, we aim to strengthen community engagement, expand our reach, and explore sustainability measures through collaborations with governmental bodies and NGOs. The non-formal education includes three packages-A, B, and C-spanning 8 to 14 months, providing a flexible and comprehensive approach tailored to individual student requirements.

BECS Community Schools (BECS) Project

The Junior Jinnah supports two BECS (Basic Education and Community Schools) Centers in Islamabad, which enroll 80 out-of-school children (OOSC). The primary objective of these centers is to provide quality education to underprivileged children who lack access to formal schooling.”

FDE Schools Project

The Junior Jinnah initiated three Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) Education projects in different FDE Schools in Pakistan. These projects are designed to help out-of-school children acquire quality inclusive education. Junior Jinnah Sponsored teaching materials and experienced teachers, with a curriculum focused on basic literacy, numeracy, and life skills. Junior Jinnah is committed to making education accessible to every child in Pakistan, the Junior Jinnah plans to expand these projects to additional schools in the future

Andalus (Masajid) School project

Junior Jinnah sponsors four mosque-based schools project called “ANDALUS” for out-of-school children in Pakistan. This initiative aims to provide quality education and holistic development to 160 children, focusing on basic literacy and numeracy skills, as well as essential life skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. The goal of the ANDALUS project is to prepare these children for further education or vocational training, equipping them with the tools they need for a brighter future.

An overview of Digital Micro-School Project

Junior Jinnah in collaboration with Teach the World Foundation and Alight, has launched an ambitious initiative to educate out-of-school, underprivileged, and dropout children across Pakistan on a large scale. It was the first of its kind in Islamabad, utilizing E-learning through the latest digital technologies and gamified learning, this school educates 100 OOSC through a digital platform, aiming to increase the number of students in the near future.

An overview of Smartphone Literacy Project

Junior Jinnah and Teach the World Foundation collaborated to provide literacy to out-of-school individuals via smartphones. The learning app, accessible to parents with internet connectivity, facilitates homeschooling with regular check-in and weekly quizzes for 140 students. This project aims to spread literacy via smartphones, reaching parents and adult females as well as children.
